Säljer en ikonisk Ikepod Seaslug GMT, formgiven av den världsberömda designern Marc Newson. Detta exemplar är från 2001, med alla kännetecken som gjort modellen till en samlarfavorit och ikon före sin tid.

Ikepod grundades 1994 av Marc Newson och Oliver Ike med ambitionen att skapa innovativa och okonventionella klockor. Seaslug GMT är ett tydligt uttryck för detta – en banbrytande design inspirerad av havslevande former, med en rundad, organiskt strömlinjeformad boett utan traditionella bandhorn (design som senare imiterats i bl.a. Apple Watch). Totalt planerades 9 999 exemplar, men långt ifrån alla tillverkades.

Detta exemplar är överlag i väldigt fint skick för sin ålder och håller tiden väl, datum växlar korrekt. Noteringar:
• Färgsläpp av index på vridringen – vanligt förekommande på dessa och andra modeller
• Ding/stötning mellan kl. 20–25, synlig i vissa ljus
• GMT-handen kan manuellt justeras men visar inte korrekt tid löpande och är alltså ur funktion

Selling an iconic Ikepod Seaslug GMT, designed by the world famous designer Marc Newson. This example dates from 2001, with all the characteristics that made the model a collector's favourite and icon ahead of its time.

Ikepod was founded in 1994 by Marc Newson and Oliver Ike with the ambition to create innovative and unconventional watches. The Seaslug GMT is a clear expression of this - a pioneering design inspired by marine forms, with a rounded, organically streamlined case without traditional strap lugs (a design later imitated in the Apple Watch and others). A total of 9,999 pieces were planned, but far from all were produced.

This example is overall in very nice condition for its age and keeps time well, date changes correctly. Notes:
- Colour drop of index on the rotating ring - common on these and other models
- Ding/bump between 20-25, visible in some lights
- GMT hand can be manually adjusted but does not show correct time continuously and is thus out of order
