"What if the Thing Continued to Mutate?", script by Tom DeFalco, pencils by Arvell Jones (layouts) and Sam de la Rosa (finishes), inks by Sam de la Rosa; Diverging from Marvel Two-In-One #82, a frustrated Thing runs off on his own before Captain America can let him know they've found MODOK's base and so he continues to mutate from Virus X, becoming a hideous radioactive form; Giant-Man and Cap raid MODOK's base on their own and are able to secure enough of the antidote that Bill can use the first dose on himself, curing his own cancer. "What if the Beast Had Truly Become a Beast?", script and pencils by Alan Weiss, inks by Jim Sherman; Diverging from Amazing Adventures #11, in a world where Hank McCoy's mutation formula was slightly more potent, his new form as the blue and furry Beast is as savage in mind as appearance; Sensing his former pupil's peril, Professor X sends Cyclops, Marvel Girl, and the Angel in an attempt to save him; Avengers and Ka-Zar cameos. "What if Galactus Had Turned the Silver Surfer Back into Norrin Radd?", script by David Anthony Kraft, pencils by Mike Vosburg, inks by Steve Mitchell; Diverging from Fantastic Four #50, Galactus decides to strip the Silver Surfer of the Power Cosmic for his betrayal on Earth and abandons him there; The powerless Norrin Radd still wants to return to his homeworld and Shalla Bal, and with help from the Fantastic Four and "non-interference" from the Watcher, they're able to use technology in the Watcher's home to find a way back there; Meanwhile, Galactus returns to Zenn-La to feed and when Shalla-Bal approaches him to learn what happened to the Silver Surfer, she offers to become his new Herald in hopes that she might see him again.
