Reprint of the original Tunis-Zulassungsmarke for Feldpost parcels, first issued March–April 1943 during the North Africa campaign. The design features a palm tree within geometric frame, symbolic of the Afrika Korps area issues.
This reproduction follows the rare local “Nordafrika” fieldpost admission label, usually found with uneven perforation (11½).

Original catalogue values (Michel 2023):
– on thick paper: €900 (mint)
– on porous paper: €3000 (mint).
Color tone: dark brown (“dunkelbraun”).
Historical note: The authentic labels were used for parcel authorization in German fieldpost across occupied North Africa.
