Beskrivning
A replica version of the classic Benrus Type I military watch MIL-W-50717. Has a black dial and black NATO strap. This watch has a basic quartz battery movement and a rotating bezel. The watch case is in a matte finish.
New battery installed in March 2026.
In overall good condition. A few scratches on the backside of the case. Bezel and crystal in top condition.
Case diameter including the crown is circa 42 mm and lug to lug 48mm circa.
A fun watch for fans of the Type I but want a budget friendly version.
Water resistance is unknown and relatively untested. Seems splash proof, for example while washing hands.
The model was made for and sold by the Swedish Militiary History Bibliotek (Svenskt Militärhistoriskt Bibliotek, SMB).
Also comes with a box and paper with information about the history of the Benrus Type I.
