Beskrivning
A stunning mid-century vase from ALP Lidköping, Sweden, marked with the “Kaskad” design and model number 89. The form features a sculpted, folded silhouette with hand-painted vertical bands in deep red, cobalt blue, and lemon yellow. Each band is decorated with a repeating black pattern that gives the vase a lively rhythm and bold visual appeal.
Made in glazed porcelain, this piece stands out both for its playful form and its colourful execution. The stamp on the underside reads “KASKAD – ALP – Sweden,” and the number 5 is impressed into the base. Likely made during the 1950s–60s, possibly designed by Carl-Harry Stålhane during his time at ALP.
Good condition. A perfect collector’s item with a colourful design.
