Alvin Lee, guitarrista inglés nacido en el año 1944, su verdadero nombre es Graham Barnes. Como otros grandes guitarristas comenzó a tocar la guitarra a la temprana edad de 13 años.

Ya con 15 años, junto al bajista Leo Lyons fundó la semilla de la que sería la banda que le llevaría a ser reconocido, "Ten Years After".
