David Clowney (bka Dave "Baby" Cortez) tocaba el órgano con la misma agresividad que un linebacker de fútbol profesional: era teatral, vestía a todo volumen y le encantaba tocar escalas exageradas.

Obtuvo la banda sonora de "The Happy Organ", un millón de ventas en los años 60. En su único LP para la subsidiaria T-Neck de Isley Brothers, interpreta instrumentales de los Isleys y otras canciones de artistas de T-Neck.
