A charming mid-century Japanese omiyage folk-art couple from the 1950s–60s, purchased in Japan. The figures are handmade from natural pinecones and wood, standing on a smooth wooden base. Each has a carved wooden hat and fabric bow. A wonderful rustic MCM decorative piece with warm character.

The matchbox shown in the original photos was used for scale only. The last photo includes other omiyage items that are sold separately.

Condition: Good vintage condition with minor age-related wear.
