Shimmering silver water ripple fabric

I’ve been sorting out my box of fabrics and came by this big piece, which was bought for a dress, which was just never implemented - and I just don’t sew a lot anymore.

The fabric is a shimmering silver with sort of a water ripple effect, which would probably be perfect for a evening gown, but maybe it can also be used for a variety of other projects and ideas. As it’s bought many years ago, I cannot say anything about the exact material, etc. but will guesstimate that it’s mainly polyester.
