Beautiful white flint biface or axe from the Neolithic period
Elongated flint axe worked by a prehistoric man.
The flint is in shades of white.

Length: 135 mm
Width of cutting edge: 53 mm

Origin: Burgundy (Yonne - Aube), Pays d'Othe (Aix-en-Othe)

Very good condition, no flaws to report: as on the photos, annotated in graphite "V. 54".
Provenance: former Burgundy collection (late 19th, early 20th)
