A vintage SAAB Turbo chronograph wristwatch with automatic movement. The watch has a black dial with white markings and orange hands. The case and bracelet are made of stainless steel. The watch comes in a Certina box. The bracelet is made in West Germany.

The movement inside is Sinn 142 (Lemania 5100). Time, date and day function works. Chronograph function works but stops inadvertently and is unreliable. So it needs maintenance.

Size 41 mm.

I bought at Auctionet from a legitimate auction house very recently. Selling to fund another watch.

My search gave a bit of background on this watch. It was given to SAAB salespeople for their success as a present back in the 1980’s and only 30 of this watch have been distributed. I can’t verify this information for certain.

I have recently changed the crystal because the old one made it impossible to see the dial. The watchmaker on Götgatan changed it. I don’t think he made a good job.

Strap isn’t original I suppose. The rest is all original.
