Beskrivning
This is a Limited edition photograph of the Swan by Morten Haug, 19 out of 25 made. Svane - Swan 1984 Morten Haug invented the Gumoil technique in 1984. Swan was one of Mortens first Gumoil prints that he made at Lillyhammer. It is found in the Preus Museum, the national museum for photography, in Horten.
The gumoil photographic technique was invented by Norwegian photographer
Morten Haug in 1985. He is a key figure in the history and development of this specific alternative photographic process.
While other Norwegian photographers like Knut Egil Wang, Tone Bjordam, and those featured in the book 100 Norwegian Photographers are recognized for their fine art, travel, and documentary work, Morten Haug is specifically known for innovating and utilizing the gumoil printing method. The process itself is a unique, tactile method that uses dichromated gum arabic and oil paint to create images with extensive tonal range.
This frame has not been changed and there are scratches on glass. Reason being that I wanted to keep the photo as untouched as possible. Frame can be changed of course.
