Pelikan 400NN 14k-F reservoarpenna, läs annons

For sale is a Pelikan 400NN black-striped, with barrel made of celluloid, produced between 1956 to 1965.

The pen works as it should. The nib is semi flex. The length is 13cm when the cap is closed. A smooth and reliable writer with a large ink capacity of about 2ml. For comparison, a Pelikan Souverän M800 which is bigger than this pen, has 1.3ml.

Cosmetic issue
There is a hairline crack on the cap (see last picture) which is a known issue for this model. As there is a metal liner inside the cap, the functionality is unaffected. The nib doesn't dry out. Aside from this, the overall condition is excellent for a 60-70 year old pen.

Ink
Alkaline inks (like most japanese inks) are not recommended for pens made of celluloid. Inks produced by Waterman, Parker, Pelikan, Montblanc, and Diamine on the other hand are known to be safe. Here's a link for more information:
