Two Japanese Porcelain Dishes - Meiji Periods - Kutani Ware & Blue and White - Porcelain - Japan - Meiji period (1868-1912)

The lot includes a Kutani ware dish from the Meiji period (circa 1880-1900), decorated in overglaze enamels with a scholarly figure and calligraphic inscription. Diameter: 15 cm. Excellent condition.
Also included is a Japanese blue and white porcelain plate from the late 19th to early 20th century , painted with abstract floral and geometric motifs. Diameter: 18 cm. The rim shows two cracks, consistent with age and production.
