To celebrate the return of the Homeworld video game franchise, Cook and Becker have partnered with Gearbox Publishing and the game’s developer Blackbird Interactive to bring an all-new painting by the legendary science fiction artist John Harris that brings his vast and beautiful spacescapes to the Homeworld universe.

This all-new work by Harris—titled The Gate—combines his signature colossal ship designs and visually striking oil technique with Homeworld’s own deep lore, depicting an ancient, gigantic spacecraft emerging from a jumpgate, flanked by escort ships from the Hiigaran fleet.
