Perfume and cosmetics
Why do we have rules for perfume and cosmetics?
Perfume and cosmetics are applied directly to the skin and are therefore subject to legal requirements on, among other things, ingredient lists, labelling and safety. When perfume is poured into another bottle or sold without its original packaging, there is no way of knowing whether the contents are genuine, how they have been stored or what they contain. Our rules are there so that you as a buyer can trust that what you buy is genuine and safe to use.
