Uniforms and security-related items
Tradera allows the sale of uniforms or ID badges as long as they do not pose a security risk. If the items come from the police, emergency services, security companies, or other security-related activities, there are restrictions on the sale.
Prohibited to sell
- Current or recently used police or emergency services uniforms
- Authority uniforms, civilian uniforms or parts of uniforms (such as ties, hats, fabrics) issued within the last 10 years or still in use (from, for example, the army, fire brigade, airlines, airports, railway companies or security companies)
- Military police badges, badges or insignia from law enforcement organizations or other emergency services (such as the fire brigade), badges issued by national or international authorities, badges issued by private security companies and badges that are film props
- Identification cards
- Jackets used in raids
- Lighting and sirens from emergency vehicles, barriers
- Equipment for controlling traffic lights
- Copies or reproductions of police badges. Such badges infringe on the copyright and trademark of the issuing authority
- Originals, copies or imitations of nameplates, ID cards, logos, safety instructions, manuals, maps or notebooks marked as confidential (from, for example, the police, army, fire brigade, airlines, airports, railway companies or security companies)
Allowed to sell, with restrictions
- Police uniforms that have been taken out of use and that do not in any way resemble current police uniforms. This must be clearly stated in the description
- Historical badges that do not resemble modern police badges, provided that it is clearly stated in the description that the badge is a historical object or that it was issued by an organization that no longer exists
- Mini-badges (approximately 3 × 3 centimeters in size)
Allowed to sell
- Masquerade costumes
- Badges that are clearly not official (for example, plastic or toy badges)
- Approved souvenir items, such as: Hats, mugs, brooches, pens, buttons, cufflinks, T-shirts and money clips
