Beskrivning
Zamia furfuracea is a plant beloning to the Cycadales order and is native to Mexico (Veracruz state). It is one of the most popular Cycads grown around the world and readily available, although the species is endangered in the wild. It is sometimes referred to as 'Cardboard Palm', but the name is misleading as Zamia is not related to true palms at all.
The plant is slow-growing, but will eventually form a small trunk of ca 20 cm in height.
For sale are single seedlings grown from seed. Some of the images show several plants in a single pot, but the price is per 1 plant.
Plants have been grown from seed and they are a couple of years old, with a small caudex-like trunk.

You will receive a plant on the images or one of equivalent size and quality.
Some of my plants have been grown outside during warm season, and as outdoor-grown plants the leaves may sport some nicks, scabs, and show some other minor damage. This is not a cause for complaint. It's normal wear and tear for plants. Overall the plants are in good condition with a healthy root system and actively growing.
When shipping, it is sometimes necessary to remove some of the leaves on larger plants to reduce transpiration and to make them fit into the package. Care will be taken to keep such removal of leaves to a minimum. This is not done to such an extent as to cause irreversible damage to a plant. New leaves will grow in and the plants will recover from such a practice.
Returns not accepted. If you have a problem with any of your plants upon arrival, please let me know and I'll try to help in any way I can.
Plants will be shipped bare-root. Will use a heat pack during winter months, November-March when necessitated by the weather. Order processing time 1-3 days. Transit will usually take a week or so.
NB! Shipping may be delayed during extreme cold spells (temperatures around -15°C and lower) during the winter period. You will be informed ASAP if your order will experience any such delays.
Shipping cost is 14 eur for all Nordic countries (except for larger plants where shipping might be higher and is specified as such).
