Phalaenopsis 'Biondoro'

'Biondoro' is a hybrid Phlaenopsis with yellow and peach-colored blooms. Flowers are lightly scented with a pleasant and not too intense floral fragrance.

Phalaenopsis orchids are popular and easy-to-grow plants. They should never be placed in direct midday sun, and should be watered once the medium has dried out.

The plant may not be in bloom by the time it is shipped! If the flowering is finished, green flower spikes will be retained on the plant -- they may sprout a new inflorescence from a node on it.

Some of my plants have been grown outside during warm season, and as outdoor-grown plants the leaves may sport some nicks, scabs, and show some other minor damage. This is not a cause for complaint. It's normal wear and tear for plants. Overall the plants are in good condition with a healthy root system and actively growing.

When shipping, it is sometimes necessary to remove some of the leaves on larger plants to reduce transpiration and to make them fit into the package. Care will be taken to keep such removal of leaves to a minimum. This is not done to such an extent as to cause irreversible damage to a plant. New leaves will grow in and the plants will recover from such a practice.

Plants will be shipped bare-root. Will use a heat pack during winter months, November-March when necessitated by the weather. Order processing time 1-3 days. Transit will usually take a week or so.

NB! Shipping may be delayed during extreme cold spells (temperatures around -15ºC and lower) during the winter period. You will be informed ASAP if your order will experience any such delays.
