— The outer shell is made from 100% melton wool, woven in Japan using traditional techniques that create a dense, wind-resistant fabric with natural thermal insulation. The surface exhibits a clean, dry hand-feel while retaining flexibility and shape memory.

Bonded to the interior face of the wool is a GORE-Windstopper® membrane, providing full windproofing while remaining breathable. This technical film acts as a barrier against cold air while allowing moisture vapor to escape, making it ideal for cold-climate, active daily wear.

Between the shell and lining is a gusseted 100% nylon film layer, which adds dimensional structure and enhances insulation performance without added bulk.

The inner lining is a 50% cotton / 50% cupro blend—soft, moisture-wicking, and static-resistant—woven in Japan for a comfortable and breathable interior against base layers.

The front closure features Swiss-made riri zippers, precision-engineered for ultra-smooth glide and long-term durability. These are considered among the highest-grade zippers globally, hand-assembled and polished in Ticino, Switzerland.

Closure toggles and detailing are made from genuine Italian cowhide leather, hand-cut and edge-finished, paired with natural horn buttons sourced from Germany, known for their strength and organic patterning, ensuring every button is unique.
