Vintage Carhartt J140 Brown Duck Quilted Flannel-Lined Jacket

This is one of my favorite Carhartt jackets I own — I’m still considering keeping it for myself, but I’m trying to change my wardrobe entirely for some personal reasons.

A true American workwear classic, the Carhartt J140 is made from the brand’s signature heavyweight cotton duck canvas in Carhartt Brown, featuring a quilted black flannel lining, ribbed cuffs and hem, and a durable brass zipper.

The size tag has faded, but it’s estimated to be 2XL–3XL. It fits perfectly oversized on a 180cm / 73kg frame, with that relaxed, lived-in Carhartt silhouette.

There are plenty of dirt marks, faded areas, and signs of age — but it still has plenty of life left in it. The wear only adds to its rugged character and authenticity.
