Case: 34,5 mm (excluding the original crown) Gold plated case with steel case back.Case has number 848A287. Case back has service markings from December 2019 inside as well as Zenith markings.

Movement: Zenith cal. 2542PC, Authomatic Winding. Movement has a serial number but it is Close to impossible to read out with movement assembled

Bracelet/ Strap: Black Zenith plain calfskin strap with original gold plated Zenith buckle, 18mm

Features: No numerals. Date between 4 and 5. Raised yellow golden/black Onyx index, raised Zenith star printed black Zenith/Authomatic/Chronometre text. Drilled lugs, screw-on case back, Golden yellow hands as well as center second hand, manufactured ca 1965. Original crown.

Condition: In overall Very good condition. The dial has more or less no damage, Very nice starburst silver, Very nice index as well as hands, dial and hands must rate as Near Mint. The case is very good with just some light scratches, steel case back has one larger scratch across from when someone tried to open the case back with the wrong tool. No signs of polishing. The movement runs very well & keeps accurate time, it was serviced in December 2019.

The movement looks good and runs very well & keeps accurate time within +-/30 seconds in a 24 hour period. A vintage watch should always be serviced before use as old oil has
dried and sometimes hardened into a carbon-like substance that wears down the
watch.
