Vintage Edox Automatic – Swiss Made – Grey Sunburst Dial – Orange Seconds Hand – Stainless Steel
Beautiful vintage Edox Swiss Made automatic watch from the 1970s, featuring a classic cushion-shaped stainless steel case and a very clean, elegant dial. This is a well-made Swiss mechanical watch that reflects the quality Edox was known for during this era.
The grey sunburst dial is particularly attractive. In real life it looks much nicer than in photos – the brushing catches the light beautifully and changes tone depending on the angle. It is quite difficult to capture this effect with a camera. The dial is in very clean condition with applied hour markers and a striking orange seconds hand, which gives the watch a subtle vintage sport character.
The watch is powered by a Swiss automatic mechanical movement, visible in the photos, signed Edox and running smoothly. It winds and runs well and keeps time nicely. The movement looks very clean and well preserved for its age.
The stainless steel case is also in good vintage condition with normal light signs of use consistent with age. The watch has a date window at 3 o’clock. Please note that the date currently does not change automatically, so it may require adjustment or service depending on the buyer’s preference. Aside from that, the watch runs perfectly and feels very smooth when operating.
A brown leather strap is fitted which suits the watch well.
