Up for sale is an exceptionally well-preserved Swiss-made Delma Shell Star vintage automatic watch from the early 1970s. This piece is a true time capsule and a dream find for any vintage watch collector.
Model: Delma Shell Star (Swiss Made)
Movement: Legendary ETA 2789 automatic (25 Jewels), featuring a day-date complication with a highly convenient quickset feature.
Power Reserve: Tested and in excellent mechanical health – the mainspring holds a full 48-hour power reserve!
Condition: The cushion-shaped stainless steel case is nearly scratch-free, retaining its original sharp 70s factory edges. The stunning textured blue ”mosaic” dial is absolutely flawless. The mineral crystal shows only minor, age-appropriate hairline scratches.
Special Feature: The caseback still has its original factory green protective sticker intact, meaning the steel underneath is completely untouched and pristine!
Strap: Fitted with a high-quality, like-new German RIOS1931 ”Future” waterproof leather strap (18mm lug width).
This is a beautiful, reliable, and character-rich Swiss timepiece ready for daily wear or to be added straight into a display case.
