Beskrivning
Beautiful handcrafted Tibetan ritual horn made from copper and brass, featuring an ornate dragon head at the end.
This type of ceremonial instrument, known as a Dbang Dung, was traditionally used in Buddhist rituals and temple processions to summon deities and proclaim spiritual victory.
This one is likely decorative today, but it may still be functional.
It shows signs of wear, including a slightly loose horn detail on the left, a brass wire replacement on the right, and corrosion around one of the fittings. The center band is secure but can be rotated. There are some dents and a beautiful aged patina overall.
A rare and symbolic collector’s piece with strong visual and spiritual presence.
Length: 41 cm
Height: 11 cm
Depth: 6 cm
Please take a good look at the photos, which are an integral part of the description.
