In collaboration with the Finnish furniture giant Artek, founded by Alvar Aalto, Comme des Garçons created a scent containing two unusual notes coming from the great north. Finnish Labrador Tea: a pine scented bush, and Linnea: a small almond scented flower from the Honeysuckle family. A contemporary and dynamic approach to a perfume. An ideology which is more art than tech. Modernist white wood with notes of rusted metal.
