Final Issue. "The Cure!" Story by Mark Gruenwald. Art by Paul Ryan and Danny Bulanadi. When news of a cure begins to spread the paranormal community become divided. Some see this as a miracle and the answer to their dreams. Others view it as a way to take away that which makes them special. Is this the end of the New Universe? Includes the Official Timeline of the New Universe. NOTE: The concept of the New Universe was really innovative and fresh in 1986, with Star Brand and DP-7 being the cream of the crop. Though it lacked direction, at some times it was very inspired and it's a shame it was not allowed to reach its full potential. Maybe with Neil Gaimen's New Universal (2006) series the New Universe can finally unfurl and blossom into the beautiful flower it was always meant to be. Only time will tell.
