"Rite of Passage!" Plot by Jim Shooter. Script by David Michelinie. Pencils by Mike Zeck. Inks by Quickdraw Studios. Cover by Mike Zeck. A former battlefield acquaintance from the Western Front asks the Sentinel of Liberty for a favor. His troubled son is missing and may be running around with a group of thug bikers. Cap agrees to help his fellow WWII veteran and tracks the outlaw gang to an abandoned barn in upstate New York. The shield-slinger is about to lay down the law to the bikers, when suddenly Doctor Octopus attacks! Wow! Where did Doc Ock come from? And why is Spider-Man's long-time foe assailing Captain America? Cameo appearances by the Beast and Jarvis. (The letters page includes a letter from comics writer Barry Dutter.)
