Condition:
Mixed MH/Used.
Many with hinge marks, some with disturbed gum.
Fronts generally clean, typical ageing for Italian colonial material.
No major faults like tears or missing corners.

Historical note:
These issues were produced during the Italian colonial administration
in Eritrea and during the occupation of Ethiopia (1936–41).
The elephant design and the 1936 “9 Maggio” set are among the most iconic
Italian colonial stamps.
