När Sansui presenterade den revolutionerande 661 FM/AM-stereomottagaren blev många experter på högkvalitativ ljudkvalitet mycket överraskade. Namnet Sansui har länge inneburit innovation och excellens inom sofistikerad ljudelektronik. Men det har också, vanligtvis, inneburit att all högkvalitativ utrustning som bär namnet Sansui också hade en dyr prislapp.

Tack vare en häpnadsväckande innovation som kallas CBM (Circuit Board Module), som utvecklats specifikt av Sansui för sin finaste professionella studioutrustning, kan du glömma priset och koncentrera dig på den enastående Sansui-kvaliteten och prestandan hos den helt nya 661:an.

Detta är en prisvärd stereomottagare som levererar dyr tonkvalitet och prestanda. Dess effektförstärkare har en mycket avancerad direktkopplad OCL-design för alla steg, vilket ger en kontinuerlig RMS-effekt på 27 fullt användbara watt per kanal (total musikeffekt 110 watt) med en förvånansvärt bred effektbandbredd på 15 till 40 000 Hz med mycket låg total distorsion.

Den har en MOS FET-utrustad tuner och en mycket mångsidig förförstärkare och kontrollsektioner med två stereobandinspelnings-/monitorkretsar. Stereo AUX-ingångar och mycket mer skulle normalt innebära en betydligt högre prislapp.

I absolutely love my Sansui 661. The receiver interacts beautifully with a pair of Dynaco A25 speakers.

Hi, this is my first post.
I´m a happy owner of a Sansui 661.
Yesterday I end set up his dial back ligths, clean it and adjust dc offset and bias amp...after donwloading the service manual from here.
His music power is amazing!!
Its works hard in some partys, an ice cube in his back heat sink was a crazy but useful solution to preserv his power transistors !! ;))

I have had this receiver for some now and after replacing all power supply caps, signal caps, some transistors and adjusting bias and dc offset I still do not find anything especial about this receiver, the sound quality is mediocre at best. the preamp and amplifier circuits are very basic. but if you like it how it sounds, more power to you.
It is a very good background music receiver.

Just bought this (from the original owner. He just had some key work done and it already looks like I just bought it from a showroom. Man what sound, (not perfect but more than adequate) emanating from this 20wpc receiver. I'm not going back to the modern era receivers, nothing can match the price to performance ratio including decent am/fm reception and sound. For daily use, this is as good as it gets ($250)...My next step (up?), looking for a nice Luxman R-1050...I hear they sound sweet and are built well.

I have had this receiver since 1972, when I bought it brand new. It still works flawlessly, and sounds great. It has enough power for my liking, and my days of listening to music at full volume are well behind me anyways.

Great amp. The sound is similar to Sansui AU-222 and AU-881 I have in my collection.
