Chipping medium bruges til at lave kunstig "chipping", hvor maling skaller af. Særdeles velegnet til fx krigsmaskiner, der skal se slidte ud.

Apply Chipping Medium on paint or primer where chipping will be and, when dry, apply a second, final coat of waterbased acrylic paint. Once dry, remoisten with water on the areas to be chipped, and use a hard brush or stick to scratch off some of the final paint.
