Certina DS Caimano Titanium Precidrive – Herrklocka

This is a Certina DS Caimano, reference C035410 A, featuring a lightweight titanium case and a matching titanium bracelet.

The watch is designed with a dark metallic gray dial with Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, with a date aperture located at the 3 o'clock position.
It is equipped with the high-precision Precidrive quartz movement and a sapphire crystal in beautiful condition.
The piece features the Certina DS system, with the logo marked on the crown and the classic turtle emblem on the case back.

The case back is marked with the reference number, water resistance of 10 bar (100 m / 330 ft), and the specific identifiers WS YPX K10 41R.

The titanium bracelet is marked on the clasp with the Certina logo and internally with "Titanium C035410 A STM-GH," matching the watch head.

The crown is fully functional for setting both the time and the date, with the date transition occurring correctly after midnight.

Right now the watch is not ticking and we do not have the right tool to open it so we cannot look at the movement, but it looks very clean and well-kept and it probably just needs a new battery. No guarantees. Regarding the condition, the sapphire crystal is in beautiful condition and the strap and case show light scratches. Overall, the watch looks really nice.

The Movement: This watch contains a Swiss ETA F05.411 Precidrive quartz movement. "Precidrive" is a high-end technology that is temperature-compensated, making it roughly 8 to 10 times more accurate than a standard quartz watch (accurate to +/- 10 seconds per year).

Case Material: Pure Titanium. This is why the watch feels lighter than steel. It is also hypoallergenic (great for people with nickel allergies) and highly corrosion-resistant.

Crystal: Genuine Sapphire Crystal. It is the second hardest material after diamond, which is why yours is still in "beautiful condition" despite the light scratches on the titanium.

The "DS" Concept: The Double Security system isn't just a label; it means the watch has a reinforced case back and a complex O-ring gasket system on the stem and crown to ensure the 100m water resistance.

Production Era: This specific model series (C035.410) was introduced around 2014-2015 and is part of Certina’s modern "Heritage" or "Urban" dress watch collection.

Battery Indication: The movement has an EOL (End Of Life) function. When the battery is low, the second hand usually jumps every 4 seconds to warn the user. Since yours is completely stopped, the battery is likely fully depleted.
