Fulvio Bianconi vas Murano

Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown bright sapphire blue and red band over white Italian art glass flower vase. The piece is documented to designer Fulvio Bianconi for the Vistosi company, circa 1960s. He worked for the company between 1953-1965. The color is very bright and saturated. The red line looks like it was brushed on with a paintbrush. The vase still retains an original, and intact, "Made In Italy - Murano" green label. It is created in the manner of pieces by Venini. The piece has a great geometric shape, with thin neck. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures: 9 3/4" tall x 3 1/2" wide.
