Bakgrund och beskrivning:
Jag köpte dessa under resor mellan 2017-2023 på en antik- och loppmarknad i Kyoto, Japan, som kallas "Ennichi (Tenjin-san) Market". Här är länken till den marknaden: https://sharing-kyoto.com/event_Ennichi/story

Den hålls varje månad den 25:e vid en gammal tempel - Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. (https://kitanotenmangu.or.jp/) Om du någonsin åker till Kyoto, missa inte det!

Sakekopparna:
Dessa är gjorda av en berömd konstnär vid namn Zuiun.
Han har stor talang inom nästan allting, porslin, keramik, brons, lack och andra material.
De var ganska dyra när jag köpte dem.
Dessa sakekoppar är handmålade.

Tallriken:
Se tallriken som en gåva från mig.
Den är tryckt och lite unik.
Detta är en känd keramikstudio i Japan som kallas Tachikichi.

Denna specifika kallas: Minoyaki-keramik från Gifu prefektur
Minoyaki blomstrade under den sena 1500-talet Momoyama-perioden. "Shino"-stil, rustik lergods och den karakteristiska gröna mönstrade "Oribe"-stilen är välkända. Mino står för över hälften av Japans keramikproduktion.

I Japan används denna tallrik främst för sashimi, sushi eller förrätter, och jag tycker det är helt okej att använda den som en displaytallrik för smycken eller andra små saker.

Background and description:

I bought it during trips between 2017-2023 in an antique and flea market in Kyoto Japan which is called "Ennichi (Tenjin-san) Market". Here is the link to that market: https://sharing-kyoto.com/event_Ennichi/story

It is held every month at the 25th in an ancient shrine - Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. (https://kitanotenmangu.or.jp/) If you ever go to Kyoto Jpan, don't miss it!

The Sake cups
Those are made by a famous artist whose name is Zuiun.
He has a great talent in almost everything, porcelain, ceramics, Bronze, lacquer, and others.
They were quite expensive when I bought them.
These sake cups are handpainted.

The plate:

It is printed, and a bit unique.

This is a famous pottery studios in Japan that is called Tachikichi.

This particular one is called : Minoyaki ware from Gifu Prefecture
Minoyaki flourished in the late 16th century Momoyama Period. "Shino" style rustic earthenware and the distinctive green patterned "Oribe" style are well known. Mino accounts for over half of Japan's ceramic production.

In Japan people use this plate mostly for sashimi, sushi, or starters, and I think it is perfectly ok to use is as a display plate for jewellery or for other small stuff.
