A beautiful silver letter opener made in Malmö in 1959 by GEWE.
The top is sculptured in an openwork design with a detailed sailboat and floral decoration, and the blade is finely engraved.
A stunning and elegant piece that looks fantastic both as decoration and for daily use in the office or at home.

It is marked on the back with GEWE, M for Malmö, three crowns, S, and the year letter I9 for 1959.

Condition is lovely with light surface wear and a beautiful silver shine.
