Strange Karma´s debut album Volume 1 that AOR Classic RockMagazine quoted: Wild, flamboyant and larger than life. From theopening guitar that introduces the band to Martin Strange's firstvocals that scream America, you are being warned that they are ontheir way. The next thought to cross your mind will be that RobertPlant changed his mind and Led Zeppelin is recording under adifferent name. Martin's vocals will send chills down your back asyou will envision the ghost of what might have been if thoseZeppelin guys decided to do it one more time. There is one strikingdifference though, Martin has a much broader range and when using anormal singing voice he has a much more dramatic sound then thatPlant guy. There is a vibrato quality that is pure dynamite to hissinging. It would be easy to write this band off as just anotherZeppelin clone but that would be a sad mistake. You can't faultsomeone just because he has the same vocal qualities as one of thebest singers on the planet. You also can't fault a group for takingthe best aspects of their influences and using that as the mold toshape their own sound. These guys are the real deal. As I stareinto my crystal ball, I see a great future ahead for these guys. Asa debut album, this has the feel of a band already at the top oftheir game. The problem they will have is topping it with theirnext offering.
