ProjectFolkodia was found at the end of 2007 and it usullay collectsseveral musicians from all over the world that usually areperforming with other bands in the folk and viking metal genre.Members from such bands as Folkearth, Sunuthar, Black KnightSymphonia, Dol Amroth to name just a few. Usually a new Folkodiaalbum pops up every year but this time it took four years torelease this album. The Maiden Of Lorraine contains multiple vocalvariation. Male, female, clean and harsh. Great guitar melodies. Infact throughout the entire album the guitar melodies are one of themost outstanding features on the album. Truly melodic and stillheavy. I love it. One thing that could be a bit of a flaw with thisalbum is that some of the singers are having a hard time topronounce some words correctly. But maybe some will find that thisjust ads to the Eastern Europe flair.
