Dimbild wascreated in 2022 as a semi-acoustic side project by renownedmusician Vintersorg (Anderas Hedlund from Vintersorg andBorknagar), which takes up the folk side of his journey in its fullcontext and leaves out the intense metal compositions associatedwith the main act. With Dunkelglöd, Dimbild show that the musicalspectrum is not limited to average songs, but that the compositionscover everything from slow to fast passages. The melodies go deepunder the skin and the lyrics sensitively reflect the thoughts oftheir author. Thoughts that revolve around nature, mythology andexistential themes. Dimbild paints its own landscapes and isdifficult to describe. The title is refined by the use of acousticguitar and drums, which, together with the vocals, gives the wholething additional expressiveness. Musically, you can recognizeopulent structures mixed with catchy melodies. A pretty interestingwork is presented here afterwards.
