In 2017 Mimikry took the option torecord a few songs at a time and release a single after eachsession, instead of recording 12-14 songs and then releasing analbum when all was done. All these 2017 singles then became thealbum Grit, released in 2018. Jump forward to 2020 and the bandhave decided to do the same again. 12 single releases under oneyear. This is the November release, number 11 of 12.

Mimikry vocalist Hjalmar “Hjalle”Östman first solo album, Ni Vet Ingenting, was released in 2014.The music on here is calmer and more intimate than the music thatÖstman normally performs with Mimikry. The opening title trackcould have suited on a Mimikry album. Its far from punk but stillenough bite to be one of the calmer tunes on a Mimikry record. Fromthen on Hjalle ventures fully into the troubadour territory. Förlåtis a beautiful tune that could have been written by Lars Winnerbäckand on Mirakel he sings with another artist that probably have beena huge influence for Hjalle during the years, namely StefanSundström. Those who love Swedish singer/songwrites and troubadoursshould check this out and for those who love the voice of Mimikryneed this one.
