CHORALE - Chorale (1979) obscure UK prog folk LP Arista

This band formed in the late 70's by Peter Gosling (a sometime member of Renaissance) with a mix of male and female vocals and featuring (amongst others) Derek Austin on Keyboards and Mo Foster on Bass.
Highlight of the album is 'Warrior', written by Gosling and filling all of side one in six linked sections. Telling the story of a young minstrel who gets sent off to war. This is an excellent work combining Steeleye-Span-style folk-rock with the pseudo-classical bombast of Renaissance. The two female vocalists (Lee Gosling and Barbara Courtney-King) shine throughout.
Side two begins with a jazz-rock instrumental 'Comes the Night-time' with excellent keyboards and bass, followed by a reworking of a traditional Spanish song 'Riu Riu' which was a top 40 Christmas hit in the Netherlands - probably the only place wher the group even got noticed. 'Child of Space' and 'Pantomime' follow in the same jazzy/classical vein and the only oddity here is the blues-rock workout 'Heavy Load' sung raunchily by one of the girls.
Despite being originally released by EMI/Arista this has never been reissued in any format to date, which is a pity because works like 'Warrior' and 'Riu Riu' deserve to be heard.

Cover = there is a bit wear on corners, edges and surface, slight wrinkle, minor writing on back.
VG+ : Very Good+.
Record = clear but you can see some light scratches and/or some small scuffs across the surface.
Cover = is still looking good, but there is some wear on corners & edges,slight creasing. There are split in the seams, wear or/and small sticker damage on the surfacewithout any major defects.
VG : Very Good.
Record = you can see many noticeable scratches or scuffs, some may cause distracting surface noise.
