This version is the Allentown pressing plant variation and can be differentiated by the label typesetting, the "ARC" runout groove etchings, and by the front cover.
The front cover shows "Stereophonic" on the top of the jacket, but the album plays in MONO.
A6/B1 listed on the back of the jacket as Love Me Do/P.S. I Love You, but plays on the record as Ask Me Why/Please Please Me

• George Harrison does not cast a shadow
•"Stereophonic" and white horizontal from along the upper edge
• Paul McCartney's lower torso and John Lennon's shoe are not pictured
• Back cover shows tracklist
• Color banded labels
• Does not have "LP 1062" catalog number on the cover.
• ''Stereo'' (Stereophonic) appears only on the cover and not on the label
• Title and artist are separated on the label by the spindle hole
• The dead wax after the last track is wider than an inch on both sides
• Runout grooves do not contain any of the following: ''Audio Matrix'', ''MR'' in a circle, or ''ARP'' in italics
