The Cure Vinyl LP

The Cure MTV Unplugged January 1991 vinyl. The performance was filmed at London's Limehouse TV Studios on a candlelit studio stage covered in pillows. "A Letter to Elise" gave its official public unveiling during this performance, which contained very different lyrics from the version released on the album "Wish". "The Caterpillar" was played for the first time since November 1984 in New York City. Recorded in rehearsal for the show. Simon Gallup, Robert Smith (violin on "The Blood"), Boris Williams, Perry Bamonte (bass on "Boys Don't Cry"), Pearl Thompson (kazoo on "The Caterpillar").
