My custom Daisy Randone doll from Girl, Interrupted !!
I made her using a Blythe-inspired doll as my base. Her face is completely hand-carved, sandpapered, and painted by me, and I’ve secured everything with a few layers of MSC so her artwork stays safe. I also styled her hair myself to match the movie! I chose not to give her sleepy eyes because I didn't want too many strings cluttering the back of her head, but she does have four special sets of eye chips that tell her story:
* Two warm brown sets (one looking front, one looking to the side)
* A front-facing set featuring Lisa & Susanna
* A side-glancing set capturing the moment Susanna hands something to her
The back of the head has her name on it and a painting of “Ruby”.
She comes with a few of her most important belongings, which I spent a lot of time making by hand. You'll get :
- Ruby, her beloved cat (which I hand-painted)
- a fully handmade miniature rotisserie chicken from her father
- a tiny "End of the World" vinyl record for her favorite song .
- her teddy bear that keeps her company
She'll also come with extra hands that have nail polish on them! (though I have more without polish if you'd prefer me to throw those in too!).
I truly hope someone is able to give her a forever home where she can feel safe and wanted, because that’s exactly what she deserves.
I’m going to package her up really carefully and make sure she is completely protected before she ships out to her new home. Please let me know if she speaks to you! :)
