Blomqvist svarv BS600

I am selling one of my Blomqvist lathes, BS 600.
Early model, S/N 1392.
Standard, Blomqvist-thread spindle.

I bought it from first owner who was a goldsmith many years ago.
After he retired the machine was kept in house, unused for at least 30 years.

Apart from cleaning and lubricating it I've changed driving belts and made complete overhaul of electrical system.
Modern 3-phase plug, of course.

I also added belt cover, it comes from a bit newer BS-600 (you can see it differs in colour) but it does the job of keeping dust and fingers out of rotating belts very well.

I was using it for many years in my hobby shop, mostly to repair typewriters, build a boat and other small stuff.

Table shown on pictures is my construction, if new owner wants it we can agree on price.
This listing is only for the machine.

Included with the lathe:
- Three-jaw, self centering chuck.
It has some cosmetic, casting defects shown on photos but works fine, jaws moving smoothly.

- Original tool post with left and right tool holders.

- Dead-center in tail-stock

- Original 3-phase, single-speed motor.
It is wired for 3 phases but can be easily changed to 240V.

- Complete set of toothed-wheels for cutting threads/power feed.

- simple saddle stop, "dumb-stop"

- Original purchase documents

I already removed the lathe from my workshop so loading onto trailer or van is a matter of 20 minutes.
It sits bolted to custom palette which I made, reinforced for transport.

Of course I can connect it for the buyer to test if all is fine but we will not "make chips" - it stands in my living room :).

Obviously: you should see it and check if you like it BEFORE you place a bid.
I will help with loading it onto a trailer or a car but new owner has to pick it from my place.
