The Rode Stereo VideoMic X is the ultimate microphone from the VideoMic series and offers professional sound quality. Rode has managed to improve the recording quality further by using 'onboard' Rycote suspension whereby the sound recordings are protected against vibrations and noise is suppressed. Thanks to the integrated circuit and LED indicators, you can switch between the different filters and settings.

The Stereo VideoMic X features a 'matched couple ' condenser capsules with a cardioid recording pattern and a frequency range of 40 Hz to 20 kHz. Hereby, an unmatched sound quality is achieved. The advanced three steps high pass filter (0/75/150 Hz) allows for reducing disturbing ambient noise such as traffic or air conditioners. The microphone can be mounted via a balanced mini XLR connector or an unbalanced 3.5" stereo jack plug into a video or still camera. The microphone is powered by a 9V battery or via P48 phantom power on the XLR connector.
