Philips SQ E283CC - Siemens Munich 1961

An extremely rare opportunity for audiophiles!
For sale: A pair of E283CC SQ (Special Quality / Long Life) tubes from March 1961, complete with original boxes.

They were manufactured under the Philips consortium partnership at Siemens & Halske’s legendary Munich factory in West Germany. You get the benefit of Philips' rigorous SQ quality control combined with the renowned Siemens sound!

Advanced Frame Grid construction
Unlike standard ECC83 tubes, these feature Siemens' high-tech frame grid construction, which eliminates microphonics and ensures an extremely quiet background.

In terms of performance, these operate in the same absolute reference class as the legendary Telefunken E803S, delivering fantastic, three-dimensional sound reproduction.

NOTE! IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING PINOUT:
The E283CC is electrically identical to the ECC83/12AX7 but has a different pinout and requires a pure 6.3V heater voltage. These tubes CANNOT be plugged directly into a standard ECC83 socket. You must either rewire the tube socket in your amplifier or use an E283CC-to-ECC83 adapter.

Responsibility for correct wiring lies entirely with the buyer.

Condition & Shipping:
Visually, the tubes are in excellent condition. They are packed with extreme care using plenty of bubble wrap and shipped with tracking. Shipping cost is to be paid by winning bidder and can differ from standard cost stated from DSV and PostNord within Sweden.

I have tested these tubes using a EURATELE-Köln tube tester; the results are shown in the photos. New old stock ECC83:s in great condition usually shows these values on my equipment.

The multimeter and tube tester are not included in this listing.
