The Hancock is the Drake’s take on a footwear staple, the Chelsea boot, and is named for Thomas Hancock, the man responsible for bringing elastic into existence. Handmade in Northampton, with a Goodyear-welted sole and elasticated gusset, the Hancock is made of leather from Charles F Stead, a storied Yorkshire tannery that has become the name for quality British leather and suede.
