Frontlines: Fuel of War is a First Person Shooter set in an alternate near-future where war is going on over the worlds oil resources that are running out.
The war is between the Western Coalition (the United States and Europe) and the Red Star Alliance (Russia and China).
The game contains online and offline gameplay and is mainly reminiscent of the multiplayer game Battlefield. The action takes place in an open game world, but centers entirely around the front lines of the war. The teams must complete certain goals and so the front lines will move during play, which also moves the action.
The game features over sixty futuristic weapons and vehicles and planes based on existing designs for the near future. Think of large tanks, but also of heavily armed radio-controlled cars and small helicopters.
