Beskrivning
The Greaseweazle v4.1 is the latest version of Keir Fraser’s well-known USB adapter, which allows floppy disks to be read and written at the lowest signal level (“flux level”). This makes it ideal for formats from the Amiga, Atari, CPC, PDP11, synthesizer, and industrial sectors. Numerous image formats such as ADF, IPF, DSK, IMG, and HFE are supported.
The set offered comes in a 3D-printed case designed by Tom Dalby. It also includes a used 3.5-inch floppy disk drive. The case is additionally equipped with a power LED.
Note: Minor color variations from the image are possible.
Compatible with Windows 10/11, current Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu), and macOS - in each case with the official Greaseweazle software version 1.22 or later. The software and documentation are publicly available on GitHub in the “keirf / greaseweazle” project.
For Windows, an alternative graphical interface (“FluxMyFluffyFloppy”) is also available as a supplement to the original software.
Note: The drive is addressed via the flag: --drive=B.
The drive has been thoroughly tested by successfully reading multiple floppy disks containing the original software without errors.
Additionally, floppy disks were written to and subsequently tested for functionality on a Commodore Amiga.
For backing up and creating floppy disks for the Commodore Amiga 500, Amiga 500+, Amiga 600, Amiga 1000, Amiga 1200, Amiga 2000, Amiga 3000, Amiga 4000, etc...
