Rare Pair of Antique Silver Lions "Foo" with Enamels, Guardian Amulet from 19O0s.
There is a pair of absolutely charming silver Guardian Lions, playing in ball, skillfully hand made of silver in ancient technology of Filigrees silver with hot Enamels. They are very rare for such design and good condition. The lions have a moving head.
These two figures are rare collectable items.

Lions are also known as "Fu Dogs" or "shi-shi" (??). They are traditional Chinese decorations, typically placed in pairs and guardian home.
Guardian lions traditionally symbolize protection from evil spirits and negative energy, and also bring good luck, prosperity, and power.

They originated in Chinese Buddhism and became popular over 2,000 years ago, during the Han Dynasty.

The high of figures is about 55 mm, the length is 75 mm, the width is 40 mm.

The vintage condition is good, the enamel good preserved, just some of patinas is somewhere on figures.

Made in China in 1900s.
